If all your friends and all your family, all your children, sons and daughters were slaughtered in their frozen blood... would you anger? Would you feel it in the pit of your soul, that fiery hatred toward the disgusting creatures would dare to not only invade and destroy your home, but take with them everything you hold dear? Would it warp you, sting you, burn you until there's nothing left of you but a senseless beast? Would you dare to become the monster, the horror, the terror, that you've spent your entire life trying to convince people you are not just so someone would pay? So just could finally grace her hand across their bloodied faces and torn throats?
Are you a wolf?
If you had the chance, the opportunity of a life time, to secure the next generation for miles into the future, would you take it? Would you climb the ladder from the pitch black poverty you and many of your fellows had fallen into, into the bright warm, sunshine of economic opportunity? Wouldn't you take it, take the thousand or two thousand pieces of good fortune given to you by a most trusted source and take it with you down the road to riches and fame? You'd take it, wouldn't you? And you step on the hands and faces of all those who rightfully deserved your reward. You'd crush their hopes, their dreams, their hearts and their bones with each heavy step you'd take, then stop to take those broken bodies in your hands and hold them up for all to see. All your pain, all your torment, right there, in your hands. Would you feel pity? Or would you fear? Fear the beast you've created in your haste for glory? Would you shiver with stories and cry with distress as gnashing teeth crash down on your soul? Would you pull the trigger?
Are you a human?
If you had nothing in your life but friends, no goals, no ambitions, no right or wrong path to take, what would you do? Would you follow, tethered and chained to a destiny created by another, by someone you trust and care for? Would you let them drag you through life and take with it all the bumps and bruises and pit falls that went with it? Or would you be the one doing the dragging, two steps ahead of the world and too fast for it to catch up? And those who run behind you... would you pity them, be kind to them and cherish them forever? Or would you race blindly for yourself, to find yourself in an ever changing world that always seems simply... too big for you? And what if they left you, torn away from your lead as if by a storm, lost to the darkness you've been through a hundred times? Would you pity then? Anger then? Race in after them? or could you care less?

The roads have been drawn for you my friend, traced out carefully and stretched long and thin. It's a tightrope, just for you, one that teeters on the edges of heaven and hell, with no beginning and no end. There's no salvation here, to destination save imminent destruction and the endless cycle of vengeance. the only choices are yours to make.
